Lunch at Jatujak Thai Restaurant

I've been to a lot of thai restaurant and probably so far the best thai restaurant yet is Thaidara and the cheapest and yet flavorful thai restaurant is S.R. Thai. I'm quite disappointed with Jatujak since I was expecting more and better than Thaidara since it's more pricey and ambiance is much better. 

What i like about Jatujak is their Thai Iced Tea, probably the best so far. I really love thai food compare to other asian cuisines, thai food is much flavorful and it invigorates you taste buds. 

Chatuchak is a place in Bangkok, Thailand were incredible market bazaar is loaded with a lot of people especially tourists.

Tom Yum Shrimp (P195 medium) Their Tom Yum is disappointing. It's not sour enough, it lacks more ingredients, and lacks taste quality. Sorry but, Thaidara has the award winning Tom Yum (more ingredients and better taste)

Yam Sam O / Pomelo Shrimp Salad (P210). Better luck next time jatujak, Thaidara's Pomelo salad is cheaper, bigger, and have squid on it. Although I have to commend it's pomelo fruit because it's sweet and it's okay.

Chicken Pad Thai (P175) The pad thai is nice, It's plenty and it's yummy. The sauce is just right, and the noodles is cooked al dente. But then again, Thaidara's pad thai is better.

Kao Pad Ruamit (P155) Fried Rice with chicken, shrimp, and pork. Probably what jatujak have is their rice dishes which i find better and much tastier than Thaidara and Som's. I love that it's taste is not too much, the toppings are plenty, and it's really good.

Mix Sate (Pork and Chicken) I forgot the price but it's not expensive though. The highlight of my lunch is the sate. The meat is very tender and juicy. The sauce is to die for. The dip is excellent. I could eat jatujak's sate everyday it's so worth it.

Verdict: If you want real authentic and cheap Thai Food, go to Thaidara in Kapitolyo, Pasig they serve the best thai food with cheap price. Jatujak is okay but you can tell the difference, especially with your money's worth. Jatujak is good but I prefer Thaidara.
