It's nice to see there are efforts for NAIA T1 although they need a total renovation of the terminal, But the most important thing is the reform in the Customs Personnel and Immigration Personnel! Line at Immigration does not take long anymore (they fixed the arrangement) 90% of the IP and CP are young (about 20s-30s) they removed the old and middle aged cranky personnel. The toilets are super ok now! :) I just hope there are better food choices in NAIA like Jollibee, Mcdonald's, KFC, or MAX's or any good and less expensive food choices. I also Hope for the better since PAL will need a lot of room for it's passengers. Int'l carriers are also thinking to return to Philippines due to the removal of the Taxes, and 24 hr shifting of the NAIA personnel in which the Gov't will pay for all the fees and charges (before, airlines pay for the Overtime pay, meal, and transportation allowances).
With the optimistic upgrade in the aviation industry of the Philippines, I do hope we could have a new modern, and quality airport like Beijing and Hong Kong airport in the future.
