Video is not mine. I just found this on youtube.
Video was made by Filmex

Enjoy this Noodle Soup commercial with Thai influence.

Lunch at Dong-Won Garden (Re-Visit)

I really like Korean Food, not only it is so delicious and close to my liking. Korean Food is something new in the Philippines unlike Italian, American, Spanish, etc.

What I like about Dong Won is it's authenticity, and it's great tasting food. My friends were suppose to eat at Army Navy but the restaurant was so jam packed and the line to the counter will take us forever.

By the way, I'm using my Pentax X-5 to take the pictures and apparently the pictures look awesome!

Also, all the appetizers were free! so we were munching our lives out.

Plating

Something like kimchi but it's not red and just a little spicy.

Kimchi!!! =)

Appetizer

Appetizer (Corn, Cucumber, and Apple)

Cool L'oreal Men stuffs

Besides Ahava products, I also like L'Oreal Men products. they are absolutely nice and very effective although I have to admit they are quite pricey rather than nivea but it's worth it. =)

Pure and Matte Toner.

I love this facial wash. It removes my white heads and it also made my face more visible against some blemishes.

The recent thing I bought is this lip balm for men since my lips are extremely susceptible to chapped lips. I love this since it's mint and has spf. =)

Lunch at H.K. Choi by Choi Garden

2nd time around and H.K. Choi never fails to satisfy my craving for good and oriental chinese dish.

I was quite bothered since it is such a nice restaurant but only few people dine in. They serve nice hot tea (not just any cheap tasting tea). But one thing I noticed is that they do not serve nuts anymore as complimentary appetizers.

Besides the good looking dish, the flavor of each dish is such a turn on!  =)

Soy Chicken. The chicken is very tender and soft, also the savory sauce of the chicken made this dish extra special which adding to the flavor. It's a savory dish that does not need anymore sauce.

Mapo Tofu. I have to commend the mapo tofu for it's okay quality, the tofu was soft and quite tasty but I've tasted better mapo tofu somewhere else.

Shrimp Dumpling. I don't know if this is "hakaw" but i believe so it is. Since i was raving about the Hakaw of Hap Chan, You also have to try this shrimp dumplings. It's tasty and quite bigger than any other chinese restaurant. I always order hakaw to every chinese restaurant I dine and apparently so far no restaurant have made an awful hakaw.

Dinner at Willy's Beach Resort, Boracay Station 1

Jan 2, 2013 was our last night at boracay, and we opted to eat dinner at the hotel were staying at.

I was surprised that their meal was good! it was truly unexpected since there was just few people dinning in.
Willy's resort is situated near the iconic Grotto at station 1 boracay.

Carbonara. Creamy but I wish there were more sauce.

Cordon Bleu.

Grilled Liempo

Komrad Mao Hunan & Sichuan Kitchen's Best Tasting Siomai and Worst Calamares ever.

My cousins and I had the best chinese dinner at Komrad's. The food is so darn flavorful but limited to 2 persons in which it was kind of a let down.

We ordered 3 orders of Steamed Siomai and 1 order of Garlic Siomai.

The garlic soimai is utterly blissful. The garlic flavor is so tasty, the meat is so tender and savory, plus it was soft and chewy. It's a little spicy but it was an orgasm in the mouth. The dish left us craving for more! By the way, the garlic siomai is served in a sizzling pot.

Komrad's steamed siomai. If i described the garlic as orgasm in the mouth, then the steamed siomai is heaven  with orgasm in the mouth. I mean come on! this is the best siomai I have tasted in my life - not to exaggerate but it's true!

Crispy Calamari with two sauces. If you still love your life then please don't order this. This is a very huge disappointment! There's too much flour and the squid was like a tiny rubber band. It was a sad sad dish.

We ordered a lot more! like the Braised Pork Belly with Preserved Vegetables. I haven't take a picture of that dish but it was soooooooooooooo good! the sauce and the vegetables were like a match mate in heaven plus the pork was soft and tender.

The Yang Chow Fried Rice was good so do order it.

Also, Try the Chicken Spicy Dry Pot, It's nice, flavorful and spicy.

Lastly try the Sichuan Fried Eggplant with Pork Strips. This was the 3rd highlight of our dinner. It's a little sweet and the flavor of Oyster sauce is impeccable. =)

Komrad is a blockbuster restaurant and is so underrated! go now! they are located at Eastwood Mall, Eastwood Quezon City.

Seaside Boracay,

My Family spent the New Year's eve at the very famous boracay, so okay I know Iv'e been there so many times but still, it's so nice and i don't get sour of the beautiful beach.

One thing I also like in boracay is the food! We went to D'Talipapa (market) to buy some fresh seafood then go to the nearest restaurant for them to cook the items bought. We call it "Paluto" which means to cook.

We bought a lot of fish, squid, shellfish etc. =)

Fishy Fishy

I don't know what kind of fish this is.

Fruits in Ice Cream

Who Doesn't like eating Ice Cream on a hot sunny day? of course none! It's so refreshing and so sweet to eat Ice Cream especially when your walking on a powdery white sand beach shore of boracay.

Anyways, Fruits in Ice Cream is a known brand in the Philippines it has many stalls in various malls especially sophisticated ones. FIC for short sells premium creamy and flavorful Ice Creams and they also offer Yogurt based Ice Creams. So yummy!

I see mochi!!! =)

Chocolate. So chocolatey, If it weren't for my diet and my throat, I'll go for another round of this.

Desserts by Center Table Catering Inc.

My Cousin who resides in Canada went back here in the Philippines last Dec. 30, 2012 to have her wedding. By the way, this wedding was planned a year ahead of time. But what I'm excited about is the cater food!! I normally first check the desserts, and then the entrees, then lastly the salads.

Mu cousin chose Center Table Catering Inc. which i find okay not that bad it's above average.

Creme Brulee. It's nice the top most part (brown part) is quite crunchy and a little bit nice. The custard is quite bland and a little sweet.

Chocolate Mousse. A typical chocolate mousse, but not that good like the chocolate mousses you find around dessert bars.

Mango cream. The mango below was nice, it was sweet and the cream complements the mango. This ws the highlight of the desserts.
