Dinner @ Hap Chan, and Keg

It's sad that your friends in the office are leaving.  well, i can't blame them for seeking greener pasture and moving forward for their career.

Jonas is a friend of mine in metrobank, he's in another division. mostly commercial accounts. I'm glad he's in good company right now. although i'm very envious that he has now a high paying job.

we decided to give him a little despedida @ Hap Chan, then at Keg.

I find their food bland. i expected more. Though they serve hot fresh tea which i oh so like. but food quality and presentation, it's very normal. a bit disappointing considering the price.

Tender Beef Broccoli

Tender but you can taste the MSG on the dish which i find it horrifying. there is a clash in the taste of the msg and the taste of the beef and soy sauce.

Sweet and Sour Pork

Sweet, Sour (not much), Pork is ok a little bit tough.

Lemon Chicken Sauce (by the way their lemon chicken is awful, I'm a fan of lemon chicken and tasted a lot of lemon chicken from various Chinese restaurant but their version is just inedible)

Hakaw (this the highlight of our dinner)

it was moist in the inside, it's very chuncky and so nom nom nom...

Yang Chow Rice

Lemon Chicken (crunchy to a bit hard - sad)

Nadine (also an officemate of ours invited her friends to join us. Since, it's a friday night and nightlife in makati so full, we decided to go to The Fort Strip @ Keg.

I ordered of course my favorite martini. but this time i ordered Lychee Martini. again, another dissapointment  considering the price (a whopping 180 pesos which i find a rip off due to the quality) taste: like the juice from a can. alcohol content: almost nothing.  sad.

I went home around 2am and I have to wake up at around 5:30am so i can prepare for my 1st class at the graduate school. unfortunately i woke up 7:30am! darn! i was late! good thing we have nothing important to discuss since lessons and reporting was finished already.

I'm excited for the bangkok trip this coming april. fortunately we were able to buy seats from PAL. thanks to my dad, since he's in retiring age, he has nothing to do but go on travel luckily therefore he has to bring all of us! anyways, keep following my blog and i'll post the pictures the soonest possible time! :)
