Bohol Escapade!

Bohol!

for the past few years, all i hear about bohol are: Beautiful, Great, Wonderful, yada yada...
well, as for my judgement: it's ok. i think it's just over rated. we took a speed ferry (2 hr trip) via supercat from cebu (i'll post the entry later) then here to bohol. we stayed for 3 days and 2 nights.

Rating: 7/10

The Famous Blood Compact (what you see is the actual) although it's an overlooking site, but it's nice :)

Baclayon Church (shorts and sleeveless are not allowed, you will be provided a cloth for cover)

Inside the church, it's a very very strange feeling. a very quiet and cold feeling. relatively silent and odd. but nonetheless, historical :)

Tarsier

Loboc river, cruising restaurant

Food is ok. not that bad and not that so good.

Show prepared by every barangay in the river.

Man made forest like - i was not present in the picture due to headache and flu! :(

Chocolate Hills :)

So, the famous pangalo beach they are talking about!

rating: 6/10!!

the sand beach is relatively white, but not as fine and white as boracay have. also, you can step stones at the beach, there are sea leaves also. but it's only few. food prices, sky rocket!! it was a shocker to know that seafood are expensive in the area. don't know why. also, panglao is very small, it's as big as a station in boracay.

i will say it again, over rated!! though our resort is so beautiful! check it out!

every year other year, i go to boracay and stay at red coconut and i'm not disappointed (although it's a bit tiring to go to boracay often, but its really beautiful there and cheap. best time to go to boracay between end of november to early december: no seaweeds, and prices are low)

Will i go back to bohol? uhm, not very likely.
