It may be not one of t the best chinese restaurant around like Komrad Mao or H.K Choi but it is certainly affordable and okay. What I like about this restaurant is that they serve hot tea unlike other restaurants, and certainly yangchow is better than Hap Chan.
Hakaw (Shrimp Dumpling). So far as to my quest for the best tasting hakaw around metro manila, Hap Chan's and H. K. Choi is far the best. Yangchow's Hakaw is somewhat ordinary, and bland not really worth of remembering.
Hototay Soup. It's my first and sadly it's with Yangchow, nothing great, nothing delicious. it's like a egg drop soup with vegetables. Very bland.
Yangchow fried rice. It's okay, edible enough and not oily.
Lechon Kawali. This was nice. I love the crisp and flavor of the pork which made my lunch better. Good thing it's not overcooked otherwise it would be hard.
Seafood Noodles (Seafood Canton). Not worth mentioning.
Beef Broccoli. It was okay. The dish lacks sauce and flavor but it has mushrooms in it. edible enough.
Cold Cuts (Pork Asado, White Chicken, Crab Sticks, Century Egg, Lechon Kawali, and Jelly Fish) This was the highlight of our lunch. This dish is soooo good! This assorted cold cuts made me forget all those disappointing dishes. I especially love the white chicken. It was very flavorful especially the topping on it.
